From the top, the fence with us one side and the locals the other.  Royston, our local barber, poking his head through the only gap, with Sue’s dad Peter below. He’d walked from Manningtree and at 82 that’s quite a journey. There was no way he could get on board with us so we were passing nibbles and drinks through the only gap for him.
